A Humpback Whale in Fishguard

There is a lot of speculation as to why this Humpback Whale has arrived in FIshguard Bay and hung around for the past few days. Perhaps it is as simple as there being less than 5000 left in the 1960s and following the worldwide ban on whaling the population has recovered to 135000 and so we will start seeing them in places we hadn’t previously? According to Wikipedia they do like the shallower continental shelves and in the UK we are surrounded by one.
